Kerala Prolongs a Warm Greetings from Messi’s Argentina for the Friendly Game

Following the All India Football Federation (AIFF)’s outrageous appearance fee demand that led to Argentina’s request to hold a football friendly in India being rejected, Kerala Sports Minister V. Abdurahiman declared that the state is ready to host the world champions, led by Lionel Messi, if they express a desire to come.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-47039″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/www.theindiaprint.com-kerala-prolongs-a-warm-greetings-from-messis-argentina-for-the-friendly-game-images-25.jpg” alt=”” width=”1262″ height=”707″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/www.theindiaprint.com-kerala-prolongs-a-warm-greetings-from-messis-argentina-for-the-friendly-game-images-25.jpg 300w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/www.theindiaprint.com-kerala-prolongs-a-warm-greetings-from-messis-argentina-for-the-friendly-game-images-25-150×84.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1262px) 100vw, 1262px” />

Abdurahiman said that he has previously spoken with well-known sports enthusiast and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan about this issue. The suggestion to arrange a friendly match with Argentina was made by Chief Minister Vijayan, and it has been sent along to them. We’ll go forward as planned as soon as Argentina confirms. We will also make an approach to the AIFF, and I am convinced that they won’t have any grounds to reject our proposal, said Abdurahiman, who is from Malappuram, the Kerala area with the fiercest support for football.

Abdurahiman said, in response to a query concerning the projected costs and the state’s ability to pay for it, “Kerala’s passion for football is widely recognised, so financial resources will not pose any issue whatsoever.”
